摘要： Optogenetics is a brand new technique that involves in the usage of light irradiation to control the cells in living tissues, especially in neurons or brains, which usually have been genetically expressed light-responsive channels. So far, with the adoption of other genetically encoded light-responsive proteins, the optogenetic toolkit has markedly expanded to include a wide array of regulatory proteins, and consequently cellular functions, which have greatly contributed to the cutting-edge studies towards imaging, diagnosis and therapy in vivo and in preclinical applications.
